Ive felt pretty despondent on these last few hours of my shift. The realization that someone I know could be so tragically murdered has really weighed on me today, so I gotta share something about Britney Cosby, because even though I knew her briefly, she touched my life. I was a borrowed partner at her store the first week she started training, being a pretty seasoned barista, I shared some pointers about frappuccino technique and she was impressed. She was so friendly and polite to customers, even when they were awful. She had a great laugh. She was a determined worker. She appreciated the fact that I knew how to put just the right amount of milk needed to make a cappuccino. We werent best friends, we werent even Facebook friends, but the memories from those 4 times I worked with her and the impact she had on me will be with me forever.
