Ive finally come up against a weaving project that I dont like. Pick-up weaving looks nice, I guess, but my verdict is that its tedious and not worth the effort. Im embarrassed to say how many hours it took to make these two swirls. The vague directions I had didnt help matters and eventually I just re-drew the draft in a way that made more sense to me. Im really happy I tried this first on a band instead of a larger piece, but still… how will I ever make it through the rest of the warp?!
