Ive finally found some words to express something that has bugged me since my childhood {*Im not always good with words}... I dont understand why it is generally NOT acceptable to be a romantic, when so much of our art revolves around the notion as being a positive thing. Cultured people go on about how wonderful the art is that artists create, but it generally unacceptable to be an artist. Unless you create something like Swan Lake, you are simply a dreamer who wants others to support you financially. But it is the romance and passion within the artist that is either fed or starved. If the artist is romantic, but the art that they create is not acceptable to the upper class, they are no more than paupers and vagrants to society. It is very sad to me that the caste system is very much alive throughout the world ... that anyone would nose an artists romantic nature and passion as being a pollutant in an otherwise clean atmosphere.
