Ive got a bit behind on my posting. Its now after 11pm my time and I have to get up early tomorrow to head to Halong Bay, which is a 3 hour bus ride from Hanoi. So, I am just going to add some comments to the photos. But before I do one quick story: I had a major scare today. My camera has an after-market adaptor to apply filters to the lens. It attaches using an adhesive. Due to the heat the adapter has fallen off a few times, and to re-adhere it I have been using superglue. Today when I reattached it some of the glue go into the telescoping mechanism of the lens. Therefore, when I turned the camera on, it would not open because the lens was stuck. I tried to use a knife to remove the glue and had no luck. I accepted that the camera was toast and it was going to be the iPhone and GoPro from here on out. I then thought maybe a camera store could fix it. My hotel took me by motorbike to a camera store. I dropped the camera off and then said to come back at 5pm. The guy from the hotel went there, picked up my camera, knocked on my door at 5pm and to my surprise the camera is as good as knew. The cost was only $30.
