Ive got a question for pro gun owners, and I guess pro gun control people as well. This is an actual question, not rhetorical. Theres around 300 million guns in America. Thats a lot. Thats nearly one gun for every person. Shootings are a regular thing here too. Im constantly hearing about different shootings going on in America. We have a disgusting gun murder rate. And this is going to continue to happen. This isnt something thatll fade away. This is going to be as much of a problem in 50 years as it is now. Weve got two options here, either let this continue to happen, or try something different. Try to make guns harder to get, or even ban them all together. Contrary to popular belief, banning guns in America is something that could fix this. We dont know that it will, we dont know what its going to look like the next couple years after banning guns, but isnt it worth a try? Guns arent even used as protection as much as someone might think. If I were to show you a pie graph, a small slice would be there for self protection, the rest would be murder, accidental murders, suicide, shit like that. More innocent people are dying due to guns being legal then being saved. (Not counting cops or anything like that. And yes, cops save A LOT more people then they kill.) -Nolan
