Ive got an issue that involved social media; AKA - Facebook, and a family member. Im in a bit of a dilemma and dont know what to do if I should do anything at all. Im pretty damn sure I quit playing jr. high and high school games when I graduated high school many many years ago. So Im going to give you, my fb friends, a Readers Digest version and a chance to chime in and help me out. If you should choose not to, thats okay. My true friends know that I will understand; no hard feelings. Please understand that I wont be naming names, but some of you may figure it out anyway. I have a family member that was in a relationship and things went south for whatever reason. After a while, the two people decided to try again, but go a little slower this time. The day after we got back from vacation, the relationship when south again. Just today, I was looking through fb and found a post that was written by the sibling of the other person. The sibling BLASTED my family member and was blamed for the relationship going bad. Everything that was said about my family member was a complete lie. I wasnt creeping on fb when I saw the post because the sibling had friend requested me awhile back so I had access to the fb page. Now, I did make a comment asking the person why they would say those things about my family member especially when I could see the post. Wouldnt you know it, my comment was deleted by the poster. Then I was PMed by that person and was just told pretty much what was on the original post. I know this is a long post, but Im not sure what to do. Im trying to be the bigger person and not be childish or immature about it. Unfortunately, the same cant be said about the poster/sibling.
