Ive got to say, Ive lost all respect for the people protesting the latest events surrounding the cops. Somehow, chanting in the streets What do we want? Dead cops! and burning down neighborhoods and indiscriminately murdering cops have become a common place reaction to our displeasure with things in our society. Maybe it might be easier to teach our kids how to have some respect for others and themselves than to clean up the mess after the inevitable finally happens or to make excuses for them post mortem. Remember the huge outcry from the community when kids playing Knock Out was the big game of the day? Me neither. It was treated like a big joke. Not so funny now, is it? Also, the vast majority of these protests are being attended by twenty something white kids that live still live at home, dont have a job, dont go to school, have never carried their own water and simply couldnt find their own ass if they searched with both hands. Taylor, Chad and Hunter need to pack up the bongos, take the chicken bones out of their nose piercings, go back to their parents house in the suburbs, and go to their room. The worst problem these kids have is that someone drank the orange juice in the fridge that they bought with their own money. Not something to turn over a squad car about. And, now that half of downtown Ferguson is destroyed, and two officers were brutally murdered, all of those that called for No Justice, No Peace are starting to backpeddle. Oh, we didnt want young people to burn down the city. or Oh, we never called for the murder of police officers. Really? Well, then what were you calling for? Because if not, there may be a chance that youve been misunderstood. I know I misunderstood. And, now that people actually have done some awful stuff, you dont want to be held responsible, is that it? Just as those that hold all those carrying a badge responsible for the events that inspired them to protest in the first place, they should hold themselves responsible for the horrific events that have transpired at the hands of those who manifested their irresponsible attitudes and rhetoric into actions. Blood on your hands? Look in the mirror and decide for yourself.
