Ive had many reasons to take multiple showers in one day in the past. Being soaked head to toe in jet fuel. Being covered in sweat and grass from mowing. So on and so forth. Today however, is a new one that I hope to NEVER EVER REPEAT. I was clearing some of the brush from the side of our driveway and I walked into a spider web. I caught a glimpse of the spider swinging off to the side but not into my hair, that was a win..... for a moment. I started to brush the web out of my hair and brought my hand down to find about 50 little tiny spiders climbing on my skin. As I began to grasp the fact that I was now infested with the young of a gut sucking death arachnid, I ran to the back of the house and turned on the hose to try and clear it all off. I do not recall if there was screaming involved, but there very well may have been. The water began to flow as it dawned on me that the hose that was still hooked up to the valve has a sizable hole in it. I jumped to the ground and grabbed the torn hose and drenched myself head to foot, scrapping my hands through my hair to escape my almost certain demise. Thankfully, I got all the death out and went inside and showered until the hot water ran out. I have shampooed my hair more today than in the rest of the year combined. Sleep well.
