Ive had people ask me, as an American, what stake I have in the Scottish Independence Referendum. While I will stay in the U.S. part of the time to visit and travel to shows, my home and love are in Scotland. While I was there, I was proud to volunteer with the Yes campaign. My time was nothing compared to the generations of people that worked so hard for this moment. An independent Scotland will enter into the world with Standard and Poores highest credit rating as the 14th wealthiest nation. Scotland invests in its people by providing free higher education and the National Health Service. It can only continue to do so as a free nation. I wish I could be there as Scotland makes history, but I am with my friends and family in spirit. Go Scotland, be free.
