Ive had sciatica for over a year now and i must say, I wouldnt wish this pain on my worst enemy. I get relief from moderate to light exercise and back and body pain goody powders but my doctor advised me to lay off the goody powders. After months of chiropractic treatment and symptoms getting worse, I decided it was time to get an mri. Here is what came back... a herniation (I call it a pimple) on my spine. Who knew something so small would hurt so bad? ?? I was told I may need surgery, but I want to to that only if its my last resort since Im absolutely terrified of any type of surgery esp dealing with my back. Does anyone have an mri that looks similar to this one? If so, any suggestions outside of surgery? I am going to try PT for a while to see if it helps.
