Ive had ten truly great days during my stay in North Wales- first at Yvonne Jones and Ogley Peter Joness house, and then at Hope House. Shellac manicure and pedicure, eyebrows shaped, hair dyed, swimming twice, making new friends (Nia, Brandon and Tam) and reconnecting with old ones (Two year old Ty and his family), lots and lots of art and craft, a visit to a gorgeous place called The Old Curiosity Tea Shop, buying a book and notebook at my favourite proof shop, Booker, a visit to the RAF base where we saw lots of charming young men in uniform Eyes left, ladies! Amy, its a Top Gun moment!, flying an actual RAF helicopter simulator used for training actual pilots, sitting in a Squirrel helicopter, the girls finally taking over the teenage lounge for an evening, sleeping on Yvonnes lap til 3am, going to the pub for tea, vodka and coke, tea and cake, roast dinners, sandwiches and soup It looks like an alien shat itself in a bowl, but if your close your eyes, it actually tastes rather nice..., seeing Andrew and Sam Davies, and my proper little teenage sweetheart Megan Davies, and my baby boy Gethin, who pulled some serious dance moves in a lush little pub called The Bridge (I still cant believe that Caroline Davies taught him Night Fever!), all whilst expressing his excellent dress sense. I loved it when all of the North Wales contingent met up for a meal out on Saturday, and that they all came for tea to Hope House on Thursday. I got spoiled by mam and Stephen Davies (new boots, tights, jewellery box, space themed cookie cutters, a fleecy hoodie, fluffy slippers, a book and notebook...), I had lot of big bubble baths, visited Morton garden centre, bought a tangerine coloured begonia for my bedroom windowsill, snored the house down in my bedroom at Petes and Vons, unus
