Ive had this album for almost a year now. As with all Dream Theater, it takes a while to absorb each song. Once I became familiar with all the complex melodies, I listened closely to the lyrics of The Enemy Inside and suspected it may have some references to PTSD. I was not certain until I found time to dig up this official video from Road Runner Records. Quite powerful imagery and message. Similar to On the Backs of Angels, Dream Theater shows they have some strong positive feelings for the men and women defending our freedom.
