Ive had to call the BBB in Texas on Dell to get a refund on my wifes inspiron 7000 (14). The service at Alienware/Dell has gone downhill big time. Ive purchased 6 systems in the last 8 years from alienware. I tried to get a refund on the only Dell weve purchased in a while because she wanted a touchscreen and the sales lady said no issue last week (saved chat session). Then today after 2 escalations they said no. So I had placed 2 orders last week for a m14 to replace hers and a new m17 (860) for me. I tried to cancel my orders today in response to my treatment and I got the run around to cancel. So I contacted the BBB to just get all of the mess cancelled and return my money to the dell account so I can close it. If it were up to me, I would have the entire sales/return staff released and start anew. Hope you guys experience is better than mine... I posted on the notebook review forums and techinferno but none of the laptop dell reps have responded (and I figured they wouldnt). Good luck gents...
