Ive have a situation that seems to occur every semester at my school with a few teachers. It seems that many of them, apparently, when we start talking about freedom of religion tend to say, If you want to worship baby Jesus, you can. Dont criticize those who want to believe otherwise I can agree with that. Thats your right! But, for some odd reason, after that baby Jesus statement is made, the teachers that have stated it and looked at me like, Do you have anything to say to that? I most absolutely do have something to say to that! I agree with the idea that you can believe what you want. My goal as a Christian is to act like Christ to everyone, not shove my beliefs down their throats. But, to only consider my SAVIOR as the baby Jesus completely mocks the idea were trying to get across as Christians. My Savior was not just a baby! He was born. Yes. But thats not the whole story, Mr. Teacher and Ms. Instructor! My Savior, Jesus took the penalty and suffering WE deserved because of the sins WE commited against God because He loved us that much! To give Him the title of baby because He was born and just leaving it at that it so ignorant! My Savior is not a baby. He is the strongest living, breathing thing that walked on this Earth! If I called you a baby only because you were born and just left it at that you would find it disrespectful, wouldnt you? So stop calling my Savior baby Jesus and start giving Him the titles He deserves! SAVIOR. REDEEMER. KING OF KINGS. LORD OF LORDS. Theres around 208+ titles the Bible gives Jesus. So, you can find something else to call Him other than, baby Jesus.
