Ive heard stories about people taking ambien for sleeping and ending up doing bizarre things that they cant remember and Ive got to admit, I was a little envious because: 1) The times Ive been sleep deprived ambien did nothing for me 2) Im a sucker for being able to tell bizarre stories On my trips back to the USA, Ive taken zopiclone to keep my sleep on track or to pass out the plane. There are many stresses I can handle but lack of sleep is not one. I didnt have any issues with the zopi until I came back to NZ. I blame my husband. He distracts me from sleeping. The few times Ive taken it late at night while we were watching our programs, apparently part of my brain goes to sleep, but not all of it. The Alegra of Mischief, Mayhem, and Raucous Shenanigans comes out to play. And I dont remember anything the next day. Last night I tormented my already long suffering husband. For anyone that watches Parks & Recs, Dan said, Youre like April with your mischief but with more energy. Some of my antics included, but were not limited to, launching myself from the couch on to Dan (he was on the floor)...repeatedly. Imitations and various reenactments. And the conclusion that the only thing left to do with me was swaddle me...which he did. He picked me up, put me in the center of a blanket, and wrapped me up as tight as he could, at which point I said, I forgot youre the master swaddler. And then I declared something along the lines of, But Im Houdini! Eventually I fell asleep and had bizarre dreams. Moral of the story: if Im ever in need of sleeping aid I will make sure Im supervised AND that I go straight to bed. Share your stories with me...I know Im not alone in this!
