Ive heard that the best way to really make these things work is by messaging everybody personally, although that makes me feel like a bit of a cheeky sod.. So, here is a general message out to EVERYBODY!!! With The Fire Beneath The Sea we are entering a very important year, one that could really push us into new territories.. As we have just entered our third year as a band, we still have never taken a penny of payment ourselves, always investing whatever we make from gigs back into the band itself, and we have put a lot of time and effort into pushing it forward as a positive force to bring happiness and dancing to people. It is a big dream for us to take our beloved band of madness all around the UK and beyond to fly the flag for positive, conscious, UK hip hop and we really need all the help that we can get. The new EP that we have is going to be a very powerful tool to help us with this, with festival applications looming. So, cue Everybody Hurts by R.E.M and prepare to have your heart strings tugged at.. (We were going to get Bob Geldoff to swear at you and demand money, but he was too expensive to hire) I have 922 friends on this account, friends of varying levels, some Ive never met, some who have been friends for the proverbal donkeys years, but if every single person donated just the tiny amount of £1 to this campaign it would make a huge difference as we only have 13 days left. As it stands, we have raised just over £1000, which will help massively with the costs of putting music out, however falls well short of all the magic that we had planned to make it launch with the big bang that it deserves. It is a record full of SO much love and passion for existence and the power of people together, its got pyaaaaa soul to it!
