Ive heard the naysayers on the internet, but boys & girls, Glock has a winner on its hands here. Light, easy shooting, small, and potent, Im a fan of the G42. The bad news is that this gun is going to be in such high demand that Glock has a 1 in 20 allocation on the gun (previously I had erroneously reported 1 in 10). That means each retailer will be allocated only one of these for every 20 other Glocks they buy. They will be hard to find, but we will have them as best we can. The trigger press felt almost identical to my Glock 19. Sights are standard for a Glock (not sure about Night Sight options yet). Breaking down the gun made me think its just a baby! (I wonder what well call the G26 & G27 now...the adolescent? I digress). All the expected components are there. Its a Glock. If you like Glocks or solid, reliable, pocket 380s, youll like it. If you dont, Ill smile and be nice to you, but deep inside Ill be thinking bad things. Youve been warned. :)
