Ive just returned from a Hamilton East candidates meeting - at a church - which was an event setup for the benefit of the Conservative Party. I feel damaged. So few people expressing so much ignorance, moral indignation, prejudice and a complete lack of compassion for others. I feel really really damaged, dirty, and possibly even suicidal. Just glad I made it back here to the 21st century without suffering permanent intellectual decay. ...wish Id known it was a suicide mission before I agreed to attend.
