Ive learned that when the hurricanes of life hit you, its tough. It isnt something that doesnt become seared on your heart and they often force us into great shifts in our lifestyle, our minds, our desires. But when the hurricanes pass, Ive learned the after-maths become my choice how they will be. After the hurricane that I felt this weekend, when the initial storm was over I asked myself one question: Bonnie, whats it going to take for you to choose love instead of anger or bitterness or even grief? This question has forced me to open my eyes to the potential that we have as humans to shift our energy into a different source. For me, that has been one of: what can I do to help? I find myself feeling, moment by moment, grateful that I experienced what I did this weekend because it has ripped another layer of myself down and I feel like I have become better, stronger and more capable to love others! Such a gift, that hurricane!!
