Ive made some changes to my Reverbnation profile. Its been on my mind a lot this last year, that although my songs up till now could fit under the category Folk or Roots because of the arrangements, Im not a folk singer. That is to say I dont record traditional songs, or even write that many songs about traditional themes, myths, legends, etc. So... I have now changed my genre to singer/songwriter as this is the truest category I fit into. I write all of my songs about personal matters of the heart, or more specifically my heart. Im also involved in a exciting new collaboration which will see me releasing songs in a trip hop-film score style as well as my usual subtle acoustic fashion. Ill keep you informed. Changing my genre on RN will also redress the balance when it comes to my good friend Lew Bear who has occupied a second place to me in the folk charts for Northants for longer than I can remember, when in reality he should be vying for the top place against my other friends Tim Kirby, Vince Gorman & Kings Gambit, all of whom are true folk artists. Thank you all for your continued plays, comments & purchases. xxx reverbnation/kennethjnash
