Ive never been very comfortable asking for help but this cause is really important to me and I could really use yours right now. In just 7 days I will begin my 24-hour gaming marathon to raise money through Extra Life 2014 for Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals to do my part for the millions of children they help every year and I am still well short of my fundraising goals. Im not looking for people to individually give hundreds of dollars to support my efforts. Any amount is a blessing and every dollar donated goes directly to helping kids. Yes. Every. Dollar. Not a single cent donated is used for anything other than helping or providing for the kids. Imagine you were confronted with the prospect of a child you love having to be admitted to one of the many childrens hospitals located throughout North America. Whether due to serious injury or some other medical condition. Imagine the sense of helplessness that sudden change in your reality might leave you with. Now think of the hundreds, possibly thousands of families that must confront this reality every day. Wouldnt you like to do something to help ease their burden even a little? Extra Life is an opportunity to do just that. Every dollar donated not only goes towards any number of medical programs but also towards providing toys and games to help entertain the kids who may have to cope with extended and/or repeated hospital stays.
