Ive never had my own website or blog, so my Scribd page is a nice alternative. An interesting sidelight is being able, in a crude way, to monitor who is visiting the site. No names, no emails or other identifiers, but I can see where most found the articles, and from what countries. Right now the numbers are, 461 from the U.S., 47 from U.K., 42 Czech Republic (really?), 15 Canada, and 5 from Germany. In addition to those countries, over the past two years my page has had viewers from Italy, France, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Philippines, and Ireland. As if I needed another reason, makes me REALLY appreciate the Internet. :)
