Ive never liked the Dodgers (what NYer does?) and to be honest, Dodger Stadium has never impressed me that much either. Its ok as a ballpark, I dont truly get where all the nostalgic reverie comes from (its barely 50) but the parking is and always will be nightmarish - it all but created the cliche of fans leaving early to beat traffic because who wants to sit in a parking lot for two hours? (oh and they jacked up parking again this year) That said, its the Dodger fans that, especially in the last few years, that I think have done the most harm to their brand. And this past opening day on Friday, for them to boo so lustily when Chris Pauls face was flashed on screen, they all but revealed themselves as pure idiots. To have this this classy a player in LA, one of the true greats, and thats how you react? Let me guess - because youre all Lakers fans? Grow up.
