Ive never seen a true leader from Igbo since independence. The likes of Micheal Opara, Mbakwe, and even Peter Obi and the present Anambra governor, Obiano, are quite sincere and honest with our money, but lack the real ingredients of promoting the life of our people, all others are blind in the heart. If you can do this, you have saved our substance and life: promote individual uniqueness and stop projects that only care about connecting us to the global world. Stop building roads for the sake of cars - promote peoples talent, gift, prospects, endowment, before opening up the place though road construction, bridges, etc. Go to a fishing village, build fishing company, engage the locals and equip them technologically to bring fish to the factory. Let them be part of the production process. Give them the opportunity to buy back the company from government by paying little by little until they can acquire the company, in about 30 years. Build school that centered on training, research, development and management of such company for their children, who are going to take over the running of the company from government. As the company grows, the community and its economy grows too. The same method applies to every other community, in respect to their endowment, interest, life, trade, craft, etc. On the other hand, I have observed that what matters to us as a people are left to the tatters. No market in Nigeria has a decent place for food and refreshment, even hospitals, motor parks, village markets, university campuses, airports, seaports, street markets, housing estates, etc. We can create 1 million enterprenuers if we can build food houses that can be enough for all the markets in Igbo land; and other ventures, like bar, fruits sellers, special foods like ukwa, abacha, ugba, elele, etc, can as well be a good opportunity for some people. I urge Igbo governors to begin to invest in those things that can accommodate our uniqueness, and not the ones that displace us, and they will tell us to change. Change to what? European? Build coliseum where arts of different forms are displaced - music, dance, folklore, comedy, fine art, sculptor, craft work, wood work, photo shop, album, videos, etc, and never forget building places for food, drinks, etc. Think Igbo while you seat on that governors office, and make people feel the positive effects of technology on their culture. Thank you.
