Ive never seen this film, Has Anybody Seen My Gal?, but this brief clip of James in it, as a 1920s wise guy is classic. When he finishes, with plopping that cheesy hat on his very un-rebel like head, it kills me every time :-) Dean only made three films in which he had a starring role, although GIANT was essentially a supporting role, but all things considered, he was in something like seven feature length films, four of which were bit parts. Back in 2005, when I was in Fairmount for the 50th anniversary, I met this obnoxious woman hanging out at the Kendall bust downtown who sputtered out some useless nonsense like, I dont know WHAT all the fuss is about, I mean he (Dean) only made one movie.. At that moment, I had to bite my tongue until it bled. I thought why on earth are YOU even here, lady???
