Ive often wondered where the no advertising, fewer features button is on most websites. It would be an interesting experiment for most of them to see where the line is drawn between people not minding *some* advertising and them preferring limited functionality with zero ads. What seems to happen at the moment is a headlong plunge in the direction of lets keep shoving more and more adverts up until nobody uses us any more (especially true of apps).
