Ive posted this documentary before, some time ago, but what the hell. This mans music has been a saving grace for me for most of my life. The man himself was mysterious and seemingly had no one who truly understood him, but this fascinating documentary gives glimpses from all people who tried to know him best. The most astonishing contributions come from Nicks sister, Gabrielle Drake. What a beautiful, eloquent person. I cherish Nick Drakes small but indispensable catalogue of recorded music, and this portrait of his life and death really shines a light on the various areas few knew. Highly recommended viewing.
