Ive ran into a few punters lately concerned about my lack of gardening photos/updates of late. Heres a long catch up. Mulberry hunt, squash, corn/cucumbers/basil, black capsicum/squash, and first water lily flower. Lebanese zucchini are pumping, apricot harvest done, cherry tomatoes just getting consistent. Egg plant peaked early, currently having a rest. Onions and garlic still being pulled up as needed from winter. So too carrots and celery. Just planted new beetroot and cos lettuce. Mint, lemon grass and ginger are loving warmer weather. Ginger is experimental. Very unlikely to be able to grow my own needs. Eat heaps of the stuff. Good to see it survive the winter tho. Big tomatoes still probably a couple weeks off unleashing. Planting was delayed. Oh and have started off some asparagus and rhubarb as long term projects. Chillis charging and doing their own thing. New medicinal/herbal additions of late include aloe Vera plant, sage, oregano and thyme. Jap pumpkin plant survived the winter and have Queensland blue pumpkins just starting to run....... Just incase you were wondering. Oh and Peaches and Nectarines should start producing end of January.
