Ive reached out to my Cincinnati State Chair of Horticulture with an idea to set up a CCL presentation and he responded with interest to do an invite to the full-student body of the school, in an auditorium presentation this fall. Id like to open up discussion about topics for the potential presentation, so we can give our connection (The Chair), the proper information to communicate for administrations approval of the event. I approached his horticultural department with intentions of only including the ENvironmental Science and Horticulture Departments. So the topics, all of which I am familiar with, that he received were of this nature; Global Carbon Stocks per ecosystem, average carbon stock per acre per ecosystem, soil carbon sequestration + ecological restoration for sequestration, landscaping related carbonfoot print, water use-carbon footprint, and more that I cant remember. I also told him that CCL would be including information about the Carbon Fee. Now that this presentation will be opened up to the full student body, lets talk about other topics we can give the chair that were comfortable speaking about, to perhaps diversify the message for a more diverse audience than just horticultural and environmental majors. Perhaps how can we relate this presentation to the food industry, or business sector?
