Ive returned to Ghana get me out of here! GET SOME HYGINE MANNERS!!! So this evening my mum, uncle and sister came to pick me up from work. We went to buy some plantains. My mum was buying the plantain. ROUND 1: the surrounding was muddy but the plantain looked clean so my mother allowed it. ROUND 2: the woman had dry crusty hands that seriously needed some Vaseline...still my mum gave her the benefit of the doubt. ROUND 3 then the womans nose was running with boogie...then she used her apron to wipe her nose...however yet again my mum gave her the benefit of doubt. The final straw was when she was collecting the plantain she used her hand to wipe her nose and then collect the plaintain. My mum froze looked at me and my sister and went flip mode. MUM: wo a hw3 wo nsa a wode a popa wo hw3ne ano ensu a wode afa adoane yi 3y3? (Your hand that you have used to clean your boogie and then pick up the food is that good? WOMAN: pls madam Im sorry MUM: Im not going to pay for the food (then my mum pause) but looking at you I will pay. When we left I asked her why she paid for it. She sed the way the woman looked so haggard if she didnt pay she would probably have ended up with an heart attack. As for the plantain they are still in the car. MEMO TO ONESELF: never buy food from a woman with boggie.
