Ive seen a few comments this morning saying how people with mental problems are selfish. Especially ones who take their own lives not thinking of the grief they will leave behind? I grew up with a mum with bad mental health problems, one day she was a normal person the next she was a stranger, I hated her for the amounts of overdoses she took, how could any parent want to leave their children behind and not care... See now, now Im older and understand, I think theyre one of the most bravest kinds of people there are. Day in day out waking up facing whatever bad things they have to deal with, not being able to escape their own minds, and how scared that person must be to want to take their own lives in the first place let alone manage the guts to actually do it. People dont know what goes inside peoples heads and are far to quick to judge.
