Ive seen and read some of the things people--my friends here on facebook, and others from other places say about spiritual things. I hear people make fun of sayings like Jesus is coming again or Jesus is coming soon, things like that. I understand the doubts, the jokes, the questions. Hey, Ive had them myself a long time ago. You see, until weve been to the cross--the cross of Christ, theres no way in the world to understand why life is the way it is. No way to even understand why we are here--alive, what purpose is life, why do we suffer, why is there pain and death and sorrow and those things. Until weve been to the cross and had that awakening by God, we cant know, we cant understand the reason for things. Until God gives us that understanding, we cant understand why He would even send His only Son to this earth to suffer and die on a cruel Roman cross to pay for crimes--sins He never committed, to save a people who rejected Him. Until weve been to the cross...until weve been to the cross....until weve been to the cross. Ive been to the cross. It was some 32 years ago when God opended my spiritual eyes and I saw that I was a sinner who deserved His wrath and hell, yet because of His love and mercy which He showed me on the cross, I have my sins forgiven and possess the life of His Son, Jesus Christ. And He wants to do the same for everyone who will listen, who will admit they will never be anything without His love and forgiveness. You know, it doesnt matter how much fame or fortune you get in this world, or even if youre misunderstood, or if youve been abused and forgotten. If youve committed crimes and hurt people. No matter. When you come to the cross and turn to Him and receive His forgiveness, youll be forever changed ! Thats a guarantee ! Come to the cross ! Come to the cross ! Come to Jesus !
