At the end when Scrooge undergoes the big transformation to caring compassionate good guy from old miserly a-hole he gives his housekeeper Mrs. Dilber a guinea coin as a present. I had to look up the value of that and it turns out a gold guinea coin in 1840 is about a pound or 20 shillings. So he just hands Mrs.Dilber 2 and a half months salary. Then he raised her actually salary by 5 times and gave her the rest of the day off. So the old girl did ok. If I was Bob Cratchit and saw that I would be asking for Gangster money. Maybe some stock options or a partnership something big. And Tiny Tim is getting a new leg of gold with some diamond wing tips. Or at least one of those Pimp walking sticks which make you glad to have shitty mobility.
