Ive seen this video flying around FB for the past few days and finally took a moment to watch it. And now my keyboard is flooded. Such a true and beautiful Garth Brooks moment. Back in the 90s when I worked at 820 CHAM I did a backstage meet-and-greet with Garth and I can honestly say it was the BEST of my career. He was so genuine and true with us all (even told me a blonde joke) and when he asked if I had anything for him to sign I sheepishly replied no. Garth went to his huge wardrobe case, pulled out one of his funky colour-blocked shirts and signed it. I was speechless and grateful and in turn donated it to a couple of young bucks who were starting a Childrens Wish Foundation chapter in their small town. We auctioned it off on my radio show for $1,000. Garth Brooks is one of a kind.
