Ive spent a lot of time watching MSNBC and CNN coverage on the Michael Brown shooting. Ive also spent some time watching Fox News cover the issue as well. Youre an ignorant idiot if you watch any of these news channels and really think theyre just telling facts as they are. It really is comical. In my opinion, this was never a race issue. I think this Officer would have shot Michael Brown whether he was black, white, purple, or green; it wouldnt have mattered. There was never time for race to become an issue in this case; this whole thing happened in less than two minutes. Theres no physical evidence this was a race issue. Theres no history of racism in the Officers discipline history. So anyone playing the race card (white, black, asian, or any other color of the rainbow), just know there are a lot of non-racist people laughing at you. Does racism still exist in America - absolutely. I dont see it here. Anyone who does, please enlighten me with facts on how term racist should have ever been scrolled across the bottom of a TV screen. The fact is, a grand jury heard all of the inconsistent witness testimony; they listened to the Officer testimony; they saw all of the forensic evidence; and they saw all of the physical evidence. They put all of that together and they made a decision not to indict Officer Wilson. Why? Because if you try to take an Officers weapon from him/her, then fail to obey his command to stop and get on the ground, and instead begin to walk/run/trot/charge (or any other verb youd like to toss in there) - youre going to get shot and continue to get shot until youre no longer a threat. Period. If you die as a result of the gunfire - thats on you - not the person firing at you. Maybe you shouldnt have put yourself in that situation to begin with? Michael Brown is dead because of his own actions and his actions alone. He made the bed and now hes sleeping in it.
