Ive spent the last 3 days in Montreal at the biggest comedy festival in the world, Just for Laughs. This year was the first time ever that they invited YouTube to be a part of the festival, and I had the distinct honour of being one of a select group of YouTubers invited to the event. I met several big comedians, made a lot of friendships, and was even interviewed along side Sabrina Jalees for a segment that appeared on national television (check it out here: cbc.ca/player/News/Arts+and+Entertainment/ID/2477704949/). Special thanks to Andy Nulman, co-founder of the JFL Festival, for making all of this happen and for recognizing those of us who make online content. I cant wait for next year!
