Sources of the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) of Valencia yesterday confirmed to this newspaper that the court has opened the proceedings following the complaint filed by the family of the deceased, who considered that there was an alleged medical negligence. So far the court has not taken any steps because they do not have the autopsy report yet, according to the sources of the TSJ. Yesterday, a spokesman from the Vistahermosa private clinic told this newspaper that the hospital deeply regrets the death and noted that the gynecology team, internal medicine and intensive have followed all treatment protocols based on the symptoms shown by the patient and her evolution. Also Vistahermosa Clinic confirmed that they have opened their own investigation in order to clarify what variables could have influenced what happened to the deceased woman from the time she was admitted until the time she passed away. Sources close to the deceased indicated that in mid-February she had her second child after a caesarean delivery and early March she returned to Vistahermosa because she had a high fever. She was initially admitted to internal medicine and eleven days after that she had a hysterectomy and they removed her uterus.
