Ive written before about my belief that a horseplayer benefits from setting a goal and then buying something tangible when they hit that goal that they can see and be reminded over the years that they win at this game. I set a goal on vacation to win my wifes 50th birthday gift, a weeklong trip to Hawaii with a sidetrip in San Diego. I want to win the airfare and rental car money by her birthday, which is the end of August. I started with $ 300 and have worked it up to $ 900. Ill cash it in when I get to $ 2500 and get the airline tix and start a trip account at the bank and put the rest in there.
