Paul Roller This weeks passage comes from the end of Lukes Gospel and orients us to the reality that Jesus was both raised from the dead and then ascended into Heaven in the sight of his Disciples. Jesus also called those same Disciples to proclaim salvation and forgiveness of sins in Jesus name beginning from Jerusalem and going out to the rest of the world. Though none of us have witnessed the Risen Jesus or his Ascension, we are still witnesses of the wondrous things hes done in our lives, and we continue the same mission these first witnesses began.
