“I’ll Be Back,” The State of the Site Hello, audience! Thank you for not compulsorily un-liking us when the content sort of dried up. Here’s what’s going on: Popcorn Wisdom is the brainchild of Ted Hong and Richard Bertelsen. I, Richard Bertelsen, have gone back to further my education while Ted Hong has gone halfway across the globe to teach, and further the education of others. We don’t make any money contributing to this page, but it was always a passion of ours to add meaningful dialogue to the movie pop culture scene. Reviews are the hardest since we are not industry insiders with passes to the latest releases. However, I believe what set us apart from every other site on the net was our articles about what the thematic elements of popular visual media suggest about who we are as a culture and how we live our lives. These articles are about to recommence. Please “like” and share any article that comes up to help us gain followers. Please comment on articles with your disagreements or your realizations. This site is supposed to be about growth and expansion. You are a huge part of that. I will do my best to release new articles in the coming weeks.
