Instead, we’re wrapping up the year with our annual countdown of the years biggest hit singles. If you just joined us, glad to have you along. Here, we go with the 12 biggest pop songs of the year. At #12, here’s a woman who along with Meghan Trainor and Katy Perry, have the most viewed music videos of 2014 on VEVO. 2014 was a big year for music, but for some artists, it was record-breaking. VEVO has just released its list of the 10 most-viewed videos and some of the names at the top weren’t even on most people’s radars in 2013. Iggy Azalea nabbed the No. 1 spot with her break-out hit, “Fancy,” featuring another newcomer, Charli XCX, while Meghan Trainor came in second with “All About That Bass.” The Australian rapper made another appearance in the No. 6 spot with Ariana Grande and her chart-topper, “Problem.” Pop music pros Katy Perry and Taylor Swift scored the No. 3 and 4 spots respectively with “Dark Horse” and “Shake It Off.” Rounding out the top five with the fifth most watched music video of the year, “Anaconda” by rapper Nicki Minaj. Now landing at #12 on our year end countdown, here’s the woman who has the most viewed music video of the year, Australian rap star Iggy Azalea. Here’s her breakthrough smash, “Fancy”.
