I’m back to NATOstan from the Middle Kingdom via The City of Cities. Nothing much has changed – as Davos came and went, disappearing into thin air. The Masters of the Universe know they cannot take on Russia militarily. Thus the continued instrumentalization of Western financial racket to attack an incautious Russia that - foolishly – left itself exposed to Western financial predators. Plus the embryo of a NATO army - US advisers included - wreaking havoc in bankrupt Ukraine. In China, I dug deeper into the clear empirical reality - industrial strength, successful economic policies, business realism – that underline the New Silk Road(s) megaprojects. The New Silk Road(s) will reach/affect/involve no less than 4.4 billion people; 63% of the worlds population, with a collective GDP of $21 trillion. The dogs of war/austerity/inequality bark and the Chinese caravan passes. Meanwhile, in NATOstan, at least there’s Syriza ready to sock it to the troika in style.
