I’m not sure if I’m more angry or bemused by this one. It will never cease to amaze me when right-wing politicians rail against the government as being evil. If that’s the case, if government is so bad, then why do they want to start “stealing money from the taxpayer” themselves? Why is it that only when liberals run for office do they become part of the big, terrible machinery of the government, but when conservatives run, they’re running to fight the establishment? Remember all those Tea Partiers who came into Congress in 2010 to fight the system? How many of them are taking big, fat checks from the Kochs and other conservative PACs. It’s beyond stupid when conservatives say the government is just set up for failure, because in case they’ve forgotten, they’re all one-half of the government.
