I’m outraged by the unacceptable treatment of our veterans, who have sacrificed so much serving our country and defending our freedom. Veterans died while waiting months for their medical appointments at the Phoenix VA Hospital. Its shameful and entirely unacceptable. Thats why two weeks ago, I voted to get to the bottom of this. And thats why today, as Veteran Affairs Secretary Shinseki testifies before Congress, I urge Secretary Shinseki publicly commit to ensuring that every VA medical facility across the country is held accountable for providing quality care for our veterans.
