I’m so tired of all the anger and hatred that I see displayed on Facebook among believers - people bickering and arguing over doctrines and beliefs. It’s ridiculous, it’s divisive and it’s not love. The world wants no part of it and I don’t blame them one bit. The gospel is not about who has the right doctrine. It’s not about who’s right and who’s wrong. It’s not about my church versus your church or my beliefs versus your beliefs. It’ not about who has the “right version” of the truth. It’s about love. It’s about acceptance. It’s about compassion. It’s about God’s perfect plan to reconcile the world to himself. Its about His love for all mankind. God loves every man, every woman and every child without condition. He loves them regardless of what their life looks like, regardless of what they have done, regardless of what they believe and regardless of what their doctrine is. He accepts them completely because of what Christ has done. We would be wise to do the same…
