I’ve been asked by the Agawam Advertiser to gather 15 people who would like to be interviewed for the Agawam Advertiser newspaper! These are the kinds of questions they are going to ask the people selected: What was the first movie you remember seeing at the Agawam Cinemas? Do you remember the first date you had at the Agawam Cinemas? What is your favorite snack to enjoy during your movie at the Agawam Cinemas? Any memorable stories, the older the better, will be greatly helpful. We are going to be trying to put together a story focusing not only on the reopening of the theater, but mainly of it’s historic past and what it means to area residents. He’s asked that I compile a list of people who would be willing to speak with him. If anyone finds a few extra minutes, please send me the answers (briefly, of course) to the questions above that he will ask you, and a good contact e-mail address and phone number where he can contact you. I promise he is the only person that will get your contact information, it will go absolutely nowhere else. I’m so excited to see the residents being included in documenting this theater’s history!
