I’ve got this great scam I can operate from anywhere in the world. I pretend to be from your bank or a technician looking to fix your computer. I have found ways of getting your telephone number and I just pick my moment and ring you up. I can do all sorts of voices and accents to make me sound official, friendly or concerned. I’m pretty convincing. I even scammed my own Mum last year. I love to chat, even when you are being difficult with me. You leak info about yourself that I can harvest and use later or sell on to others. You’d be easily fooled. I want your PIN and bank details. Easy money for me. If I get a sore throat I send you an email instead. I may have a “not to be missed offer” or some other hook that ultimately gets you to respond and send me your valuable private financial details. I am persistent. I will never stop unless I get caught or my scam becomes a waste of time for me because I make millions. Look I’m telling you this because it seems only fair that as we have a sort of bond through this #Scilly site and I kinda don’t want you to fall foul of my villainy. I’ll cut this deal with you. We need secret code words so I know you know you are on to me. I will not be offended when you say the code words: “GOOD BYE IM NOT INTERESTED” and then immediately hang up, and here’s the important bit, WITHOUT waiting for my response. If I have emailed you must NOT respond as to do so will tell me that you are not an #IOSPD follower and I will continue to ply my trade and steal your money. If we make this pact today I will not get your money and we can still be friends. Think of me when you get these calls/emails. Deal?
