• J.P. Memorial Quiz was started as an initiative by a group of students from NIT Patna(2011-15 batch) in the year 2012 to pay tribute to Late Jay Prakash Kumar Sir (Deptt .of civil engg.) For his sincere duties towards the institute .And also take his mission to garner the students into an aware and technologically sound citizen of India. • Unfortunately Jay Prakash sir left for his heavenly abode in the month of September 2012 due to the sudden cardiac arrest. • As he was an eminent teacher of science and technology and a continuous researcher in the subject, J.P. MEMORIAL QUIZ is just a small effort by us to take his mission forward inculcate the scientific atmosphere amongst the budding children. • Last year the quiz was focused on Science & Technology. This year the Quiz would ensemble all the general topics (General science, aptitude, puzzles, logical reasoning etc.) so as to encourage students not only from science but from all streams to get acquainted with present scenario of competition. • And thus taking forward the legacy of the last year we present the second awaited season of J.P.
