Some are deleted after being filmed and thus the visuals could now be available through DVDs / youtube , if subsequently added to the video releases … others are not filmed at all and thus no film clips have been seen.. some are not even issued on the original records and thus never even got radio play or any exposure. Many songs composed by Madan Mohanji from released films , too got lost as they were not in the film when originally released. We will over next few weeks share some of these songs , which, although ,are now available on youtube, [ with or without film clips] but remain less heard. Earlier ,we posted the deleted songs ‘Chand Madham Hai’ from Railway Platform and ‘Sapne Mein Sajanse’ from Gateway Of India ADALAT starring Nargis and Pradeep Kumar, with lyrics by Rajinder Krishanji, had some well remembered songs, like Yun Hasraton ke Daag, Unko Yeh Shikayat Hai , Zameen Se Hamen Aasmaan Par, Ja Ja Re ja Sajana. This haunting ghazal , ‘Jaana Tha Humse Door’ , a solo by Lataji, was composed and arranged so differently.. completely modern , as compared to the other traditional ghazals in the film.
