Currently, the Company has sea cages operations at Sungai Johor and is expanding the number of sea cages as well as setting up a land based hatchery, nursery and grow-out facilities. 1. Vacancy- Experienced Farm Executive (Johor) • JOB TITLE : Farm Executive • LOCATION : Johor, Malaysia • APPLICATION DATELINE : Mid-August 2013 • START DATE : Immediate • LAGUAGE REQUIREMENTS : Good in English and Malay • TERM : Full time with 3 months of probation • GROSS SALARY/BENEFITS : Negotiable; base on experience • RESPONSIBILITY AND TASK: 1. Manage daily operations of an offshore seacage farm, comprising of finfish husbandry, cage maintenance and harvesting. 2. Good knowledge in Fish Health including disease prevention and control. 3. Able to collaborate with current management team and staff to develop strategies and work plan for efficiency and advancing the production of the seacage farm. 4. Knowledge in hatchery and nursery operations including the trapping and spawning of fish, egg incubation, live feed culture and fry rearing. 5. Support activities for other production groups within the company, in particular the hatchery production. 6. Provide documentation, monitor progress and provide technical reports as required. • EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Diploma or higher in aquaculture or equivalent. 2. Relevant work experience required. 3. Demonstrate the ability to work with all levels of staff. 4. Ability to work in teams or independently. 5. Have good critical thinking ability. • OTHER INFORMATION: Final salary to be agreed based on experience and performance. Farm Executive will report to the General Manager and senior management.
